An airdrop is defined as the distribution of fungible tokens to multiple wallet addresses where recipients receive tokens without paying the full market value. This includes free distributions requiring only gas fees, distributions requiring donations less than 10% of market value, retroactive rewards, task-based distributions, and phased distributions where initial tokens are received before the deadline. Token sales where recipients pay 10% or more of market value, ICOs, IDOs, employee compensation, liquidity mining rewards, staking rewards, NFTs, non-transferable tokens, and unconverted points do not constitute airdrops. The airdrop must be conducted (tokens actually distributed) before the deadline, not merely announced.
